VISIT THE HOME OF MOTOR RACING LEGEND DICK JOHNSON

The DJR complex is a purpose built facility housing the Dick Johnson Museum, Raceshop and workshop. Situated midway between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, the complex is conveniently located near the Dreamworld and Movie World theme parks.

MUSEUM

A must-see for every V8 Supercar fan, the Dick Johnson Museum is home to the cars that made Dick Johnson famous, including: EB Shell Falcon - winner Bathurst 1000 AU Shell Falcon - Dick’s last race car Sierra that dominated the championship series from 1987 to 1992
Also on display, a rotating roster of cars driven by DJ’s fiercest rivals, including: Peter Brock’s 1978 A9X Torana Kevin Bartlett’s #9 Camaro Allan Moffat’s 1969 Coca Cola Mustang

You’ll see an incredible range of DJR and motorsport memorabilia, collected by Dick for over 30 years. There’s the infamous “Rock”, valued at a cool 1 mil- lion dollars as well as trophies, videos, photographs, race suits and more. The museum is open 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday and Saturday 10am - 2pm (closed public holidays). Entry is free and there is plenty of parking.

RACESHOP

Our retail Raceshop stocks the entire range of DJR merchandise including our exclusive Jim Beam Racing range of clothes and accessories. There’s also a great selection of gifts and souvenirs including model cars, books, DVD’s, stickers, flags, mugs, key rings and pens. Genuine race car panels are available for purchase from time to time and make an excellent conversation piece for the bar or pool room. Please enquire at the DJR Race Shop for more details.
A large glass window to the workshop allows you to see the DJR team working hard on the current #17 & #18 Jim Beam Racing and #19.

WORKSHOP TOURS

Take a guided tour behind the scenes to experience the buzz of a working Supercar team. See The Team working on the cars* and learn about the specialist equipment used to build and maintain them. And keep an eye out for Dick Johnson, Steven Johnson, James Moffat and Dean Fiore you never know when they’ll appear!

GETTING HERE:

DRIVING:

Simply take the Pacific Motorway: Either north from the Gold Coast OR south from Brisbane Take EXIT 38 (Yatala North turnoff), head towards Jacobs Well (Route 96) and look out for the ‘Dick Johnson Racing’ sign. Turn right into DeBortoli Street (just before the Yatala/Beenleigh Drive In) and right again into Emeri Street.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT:

Take the Train to Beenleigh Station, then a Taxi to Stapylton (only 7-10 minutes).
